Join us at Gallery 1740 on June 28th from 10am-12pm for our first art workshop of the summer! Artist Amber Guinn from our spring 2024 exhibition, The Language of Flowers, will teach a Floral Collage Painting workshop.
In this beginner friendly session, participants will paint a flower composition onto a canvas they have collaged themselves. The workshop will begin with a demonstration of collage techniques showing how to add depth and texture to the canvas through acrylic paint, paper, and pens. Attendees will then use stencils to outline flower shapes onto their collaged canvas. All materials are provided.
This workshop is free and open to all levels of creative experience. Adults and children are welcome to attend, but children must be supervised by a parent.
