English DJ, producer, label owner, and club promoter John Digweed played a key role in developing and popularizing the progressive house sound during the 1990s before settling into a niche of prolific live output in the 2000s and 2010s. Both solo and with his longtime cohort Sasha, Digweed has released countless mix CDs, several of which have helped establish the format.
