Why ART?  We believe that Art is the cultural thread that weaves us together.  Art captures, conveys and connects our experiences.  The purpose of our gallery is to connect you with our favorite Southeastern Artists.  We want to help you to look, to participate and to discover what you LOVE.  We’re Art Lovers, and we want you to be an Art Lover too.  

Established in 2003, Spalding Nix Fine Art focuses on Artists in and of the Southeast.  In a market where men have traditionally dominated, the majority of our Artists are women. Our goal is to highlight the best of Contemporary Art from the Southeast with abstract artists like Katherine Sandoz and Susan Hable to more traditional realists like Sarah Lamb and Heather Lancaster. Today, we curate six shows annually featuring three to four Artists in each show.  We celebrate work across all disciplines from a diverse range of emerging to established Artists. 

We encourage opportunities to look, to listen and to learn.  Our Openings are fun occasions to meet the Artists, to experience the work in person, and to celebrate with fellow Art Lovers.  Our Instagram Live Artist Talks are chances for you to hear the Artists discuss their process and their work.  Our Artists’ work is featured on a variety of platforms including Artsy, 1stDibs, and our website which showcases our Artists’ available work with everything you need to make a decision – even if you can’t make it to the gallery to see the work in person!  We love our Buckhead home at The Galleries of Peachtree Hills (next door to ADAC).
